Product Photography for a NY Adirondacks Craftsman and Woodworker
The Adirondacks in upstate New York are famous famous for their beautiful mountains, lakes, and forests, as well as for being a popular destination for outdoor recreation such as hiking, camping, and skiing.
As a brand photographer based just south of the Adirondacks in Saratoga Springs, NY I was excited when Adirondack craftsman and woodworker, Johnny, reached out to EFP for product photos of his latest project.
Johnny wanted a mix of detail shots and lifestyled product photos of the lamp above a round dining room table.
We wanted to create product photos of this custom built lamp that felt minimalistic and modern with both daytime and evening tones.
First, we started with product photography with natural light during the day and several lifestyled set ups.
I knew just the perfect set, and pulled together a mood board for lifestyle props and staging to set the tone for this first-of-its-kind bent kumiko lamp.
We also wanted to create a set of evening product photos that illuminate the gorgeous, intricate details of the lamp with the light on.
Simply, perfect product photos.
